Legal & Compliance SaaS

Adryo brings CRM, LCB-FT compliance, contracts, mail handling and SEPA invoicing for domiciliation companies into one single platform.

Adryo started from a large gap in the business need. Nothing on the market filled it, and domiciliation operators had no single tool to run their clients, compliance, mail and billing.

My role was to shape the MVP end to end. The product had to work across multiple platforms, devices and user types from the start. With the help of AI, we prototyped a complex problem quickly and put a working first version in clients’ hands within a few weeks.

Process & Approach

I started by mapping how domiciliation businesses really work day to day:

  • Operator interviews: Understanding how teams juggle clients, mail and compliance across scattered tools

  • Workflow mapping: Following a client from onboarding and KYC to contract signature and monthly billing

  • MVP scoping: Prioritizing the flows that deliver value first and parking the rest for later releases

  • Rapid prototyping: Validating key screens with early users before any development started

The Challenge

Building a first version from scratch came with its own set of constraints:

  • Fragmented tools: Operators relied on spreadsheets, email and paper for CRM, mail and invoicing

  • Regulatory weight: LCB-FT anti-money laundering checks had to be clear, traceable and hard to skip

  • Speed to market: The MVP had to ship fast without creating design debt

  • First impression: A new brand needed to look credible from the very first demo

Solution

A Solid Design System From Day One

Instead of designing screens one by one, I built the foundations first:

  • Tokenized foundations: Color, typography, spacing and radius tokens shared between design and code

  • Core components: Tables, forms, status badges and document cards reused across every module

  • Compliance patterns: Clear states for verified, pending and missing documents

  • Scalable layouts: A modular app shell ready for CRM, mail, contracts and billing modules

First Version & Impression

The MVP focused on a calm, trustworthy interface. Warm neutrals and a confident green accent make dense legal and financial data feel approachable, while consistent patterns keep onboarding simple for new operators.

Key Takeaways

This project demonstrated that:

  • Foundations first: Investing in a design system early made every new feature faster to design and build

  • Scope with intent: A focused MVP earns trust faster than a crowded first release

  • Compliance as UX: Regulatory steps feel lighter when they are part of the natural flow

  • Brand matters early: A polished first impression helped a brand new product win its first clients

Adryo shows how a thoughtful MVP, backed by a solid design system, can turn a fragmented, paper-heavy business into one clear platform.

Expert-OCR Platform Revamp: Modernizing Document Workflow Automation

The Expert-OCR platform revamp transformed a powerful but technically complex optical character recognition (OCR) and data extraction API into an intuitive, enterprise-grade SaaS application. This case study examines the user-centered design process and DesignOps implementation that created a unified interface for managing high-volume document processing, review, and integration workflows.

Process & Approach

The design process followed a developer-centric approach to creating a technical yet accessible interface:

  • User & Market Research: Identifying core pain points of operations analysts, data managers, and IT administrators through interviews, competitive analysis, and journey mapping.

  • Information Architecture Restructuring: Reorganizing the entire platform's navigation and data flow around user tasks, moving away from a feature-centric model.

  • Visual System & Prototyping: Developing a clean, professional UI language and interactive prototypes focused on the critical "review and correct" workflow.

  • Component System Design: Building a modular, reusable library of UI components to ensure consistency and accelerate development.

  • Cross-Functional Handoff: Establishing clear DesignOps workflows for seamless collaboration between design, front-end, and back-end engineering teams
